A Prepared Place

Exodus 23:20 (NKJV)

"Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.

This was a promise given to the Israelites after they had been delivered out of Egypt and before they had come in to the promised land. As a born again Christian, I have been delivered out of "Egypt" an idiom of the world. But I don't consider myself to have arrived at where God wants me yet. I believe God has prepared a place for me and he has put an angel before me to keep me in the way. What a delightful thought that is.
